Hi, I’m Junabel, the face and heart behind Filipina Elated
I’m a Filipina from Cebu who genuinely cares about helping foreigners feel welcome, supported, and at ease while finding love, building a life, or simply exploring here in the Philippines.
I grew up in a small town in Toledo, helping my mom sell flowers in the local market. Later, I worked as a call center agent and sold products online, even delivering them myself. Life taught me responsibility early especially when I lost my mom at 17. That pain changed everything. It became a turning point that made me stronger, deepened my faith, and reminded me of one thing: to keep moving forward, no matter what.

I know you want to go into maritime but you should also take some classes in psychology and counseling. I bet most of your friends come to you for advice all the time.
